Mathoghma (Greater God)
  • Domains: Magic and Knowledge
  • Alignment: True Neutral. Priests of Mathoghma may be of any alignment.
  • Allowed Races: Elves, Half-Elves, Humans
  • Duties: Education, Study and Writing
  • Spheres of Influence: Major access to Thought, Astral, Charm and Divination of Clerical spells. Minor access to Conjuration, Abjuration and Divination of Arcane spells.
  • Powers:
  • ESP, once per day/level
  • Read Language, once per day (Effect lasts 1 minute per level)
  • Learn Languages, priests gain a language slot every level
  • Learn Magic Spells, Priests may learn Arcane spells with the same chance as a mage.

  • Symbol: An Unfurled Scroll
  • Description: Mathoghma appears as an aged white-haired man wearing robes walking with a large wooden stave. He has several scrolls about his person at all times and his eyes glow with bright radiance. It is said that when Mathoghma looks at you he can see your true name. It is also said that he has the power to grant wishes and answer any question posed to him.
Gobannon (Greater God)
  • Domains: Metalworking, Prosperity and Strength
  • Alignment: Lawful Good, Priests may be of any good alignment
  • Races Allowed: Dwarves, Elves, Gnomes, Half-elves, Halflings, Humans
  • Duties: Teaching of metalworking to the flock. Must participate in semi-annual competition where metal goods of all sorts are displayed. Investigate Lost metalworking techniques including those of other races. Promote fairness and prosperity throughout the land.
  • Spheres of Influence: Major access to all Combat, Elemental, Creation. Minor access to Guardian, Healing, Protection, Divination
  • Powers:
  • Detection of treasure; The priest can detect treasure within 10’, even when concealed. (Can detect within 5’ through a thin wall, or 2’ through stone or buried. However he cannot divine direction through this power and must move around to get a fix on it. The power does not tell him what sot of treasure it is, and even if it is a type that he does not desire it will alert him to the items presence.
  • Analysis of workmanship quality in metal goods. The priest will be able to tell if the metal craft is of poor, average, good, or superior quality. This gives him a +2 Appraisal skill bonus
  • Symbol: Arm and Hammer
  • Description: Gobannon appears as a large human male with a thick black beard and hair the color of coal. He usually wears a blacksmith’s apron and common clothing. He carries a large hammer that can split mountains. His strength is such that he can break anything in his two hands. He is the only god that dwarves respect out of the human pantheon and it is not uncommon to hear accounts of his presence in their mountains.
Arawan (Greater God)
  • Domains: God of Death, Darkness and Ancestors
  • Alignment: Neutral. Priests may be of any Neutral alignment.
  • Races Allowed: Dwarves, Elves, Half-Elves, Gnomes, Halflings, Humans
  • Duties: Burial Ceremonies; Teaching younger generations the value of venerating ones ancestors. Investigating old mysteries to discover clues about a cause of death. Listening to the omens whispered by the dead.
  • Spheres of Influence: Major access to all Astral, Creation, Divination, Necromantic. Minor access to Guardian, Protection, Summoning, Animal, Elemental
  • Powers:
  • Detection of graves and undead; the priest can detect where graves lie, and presence of undead within 60’. He can tell the difference between dead and undead but he has no other analytical ability. Through thin walls he can only detect them within 30’, and through earth or stone he can only detect them at 10’.
  • Low Light Vision; Same as elf ability; an elven or half-elven priest has their low light vision range doubled.
  • True Neutral and Neutral Good priests can turn undead; Neutral evil priests can command undead.
  • 8th Level; Prophecy. The priest can become a channel at will for the dead.
  • Symbol: A dead tree
  • Description: Arawan appears as a figure in dark tattered robes carrying a large headmans axe. His presence is said to chill the air and his voice is hollow and sinister. His features are frightening to behold with a skin like a corpse and sunken eyes which glow eerily in the darkness. He never touches the earth when he walks somehow floating above it. He always appears at night with a strange mist that puts everyone about him in a deathlike trance. It is said he knows all secrets taken to the grave.
Mornigan (Lesser Goddess)
  • Domains: Sun, Healing and Light
  • Alignment: Lawful Good. Priests may be of any good alignment.
  • Races Allowed: Dwarves, Elves, Gnomes, Half-elves, Halflings, Humans
  • Duties: Vigilance against dark and evil forces. Curing the sick and injured.
  • Spheres of Influence: Major access to all Healing, Divination, Sun. Minor access to Creation, Protection, Summoning.
  • Powers:
  • Immunity to all poisons and diseases
  • Turn Undead
  • Identification of diseases or poisons
  • 10th lvl; Chariot of Sustarre. Priest can case this spell once per day.
  • Symbol: Spear with roses and a sun as a background
  • Description: Mornigan appears as a young maiden wearing chain mail carrying a spear. She has fiery red hair and her eyes flicker with intensity. She rides on a chariot flown by two pegasi that fly through the air like a comet. Wherever she goes the surrounding area is illuminated as if it were day. Whomever she touches is cured of all sickness.
  • Gwaeddan (Lesser Goddess)
  • Domains: Moon, Destiny and Peace
  • Alignment: Neutral Good. Priests may be of any good alignment.
  • Races Allowed: Gnomes, Elves, Half-Elvs, Halflings, Humans
  • Duties: Mediate disputes, give guidance and advice to the lost and troubled.
  • Spheres of Influence: Major access to all Charm, Divination, Healing, Elemental, Animal. Minor access to Protection, Weather, Creation Powers:
  • Soothing Word; Priest can cast Commune spell once per per month
  • Low Light Vision: Same as elf ability, elven or half-elven priests have their low light vision range doubled.
  • 5th Level; Remove Fear
  • 10th Level; Interdiction; once per day
  • Symbol: Crescent Moon
  • Description: Gwaeddan is actually an elven goddess though she is worshiped by as many humans and can assume either form. She appears as a beautiful maiden with long silver hair and pale skin. She wears a dress woven from silver thread and a necklace of bright stars. If a forthcoming battle or feud is unwarranted she may try and stop it to keep the peace. She will appear to give guidance to those who feel cheated or abandoned by the gods.
